I’m taking on The Long Run

Hello friends,

My family and I are raising money for The Prostate Cancer Foundation by running 72km in the month of September as part of The Long Run.

This cause is very close to my heart after Dad was diagnosed with Prostate cancer just before my wedding (he told me after).

It’s common for people to say ‘Prostate Cancer is the one to get!’ - it didn’t feel that way for our family. Dad slogged out his treatment which definitely took a toll. Thankfully, Dad is doing well now.

Anyone that knows me well, will know that I am NOT a runner

I started last week and have completed 5 x 5km runs which I’ll build on over the month. I wanted to check that I could actually run before making this post

I know life is expensive at the moment, I’d be forever grateful for any donations for this worthwhile cause.
