The Long Run 2024
This September for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, it’ll be my 3rd year taking part in The Long Run since my diagnosis.
Life certainly has a way of creating its ups and downs, this cancer journey is no different.
It sucks big time but with support and treatment it is definitely manageable.
I am currently taking a break from my hormone therapy treatment due to it’s debilitating side effects but enjoy the comfort of undetectable PSA blood counts (this is the prostate cancer blood marker)
Prostate cancer is Australia’s leading cause of cancer, with 70 men newly diagnosed every day.
