“My prostate cancer journey began in 2016 at age 58, after five years of persistent symptoms that were repeatedly dismissed. I was eventually diagnosed and underwent a prostatectomy followed by 33 rounds of exhausting radiotherapy. I’m not out of the woods yet, and I'm hopeful that research will give me more time with my family. I’ve been taking part in The Long Run since 2021 and I hope you’ll join me again in 2025 – your support makes a huge difference.”
